Pronuncian is a next-generation internet-based English Language Learning resource. Pronuncian's content takes advantage of all the best interactive and multimedia features of the next generation of technology. Pronuncian focuses on presenting difficult-to-find American English pronunciation tips and techniques to mid to advanced level English language students. Our content is distributed in a variety of formats, including our website and our top-ranked American English Pronunciation Podcast.
Podcast Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunities
The American English Pronunciation Podcast has been downloaded over 3 million times with 40,000 regular subscribers, and is consistently ranked in the top 20 in the iTunes Education podcast section. More than 100 episodes have been produced. Ten percent of existing episodes are available in either audio or video format, with new video podcasts being produced monthly.
The American English Pronunciation Podcast is released on a weekly basis. The podcast is distributed both directly from Pronuncian.com via RSS and Podtrac web player as well as through the iTunes Store, Podcast.com, and, with video episodes, on Youtube.com.
The podcast's format is a didactic monologue of between five and eight minutes in length. Typical episodes cover a single topic in advanced English Language Learning.
In-show advertising
Pronuncian offers two fifteen second blocks of advertisement in each podcast. The advertisements are embedded toward the beginning and end of the show. You can choose to have a pre-produced segment played verbatim during that time, or our podcast host can read a prepared advertisement text.
The in-show advertisement will include your brand or company name, the product or service you offer with key differentiators and advantages it has, and a phone number or web address where customers can find it.
Sponsorship

At a level above plain advertisements, Pronuncian also accepts sponsorship packages for our website and podcasts. Sponsorships involve elements of both in-show and website advertisement, but with a more involved, more personal aspect. Our listeners, and your potential customers, will hear a short message announcing your sponsorship at the beginning of each show after the opening titles. The actual advertisement is inserted mid-show and consists our podcast host speaking directly and informally about the product or service, highlighting advantages and making a personalized recommendation, building on the trust already established with our loyal listeners. This format is very effective, staying within the flow of the show and establishing a more solid relationship between our already established services and the product or service you wish to introduce to our listeners.
Sponsorships also include the show notes advertising and the 180x90 banner link mentioned in the website advertising section. For sponsors, however, the banners are displayed to all users, including our paying subscribers.
Mini
For small schools or independent tutors seeking to reach our audience of ELL students, we understand that a conventional advertising campaign may be out of reach. For those instances, we offer a mini-sponsorship at a greatly reduced price. The mini-sponsorship simply includes a mention during the podcast episode stating that the the podcast has been sponsored by you, and a phone number or e-mail address and/or website address where students can find you or your products. No website ad-space is included, only the podcast mention. This mini-sponsorship is a fast, clean, affordable way to reach tens of thousands of listeners quickly. We offer multiple mini-sponsorship slots per show.
Website Advertising
The Pronuncian website offers both free and premium English pronunciation materials to a worldwide audience. The site attracts nearly 20,000 unique visitors per month.
Advertising is available directly on the Pronuncian website in a variety of ad banner sizes. The available sizes are:

- Horizontal (content top) 468x60
We do not accept animated or audio advertisements.
We also make ad space available via Google AdWords if you would like to incorporate your ads on our site with other Google campaigns. Simply search for "pronuncian.com" in the AdWords placement tool and you'll find us!
Audience Demographics
Pronuncian conducted a month-long survey of our combined audience in January of 2010.
As might be expected from the advanced level of the materials Pronuncian produces, Pronuncian's audience is well-educated and relatively affluent.
22% have an annual household income over $75,000. 92% are multi-lingual; over half have studied English specifically for more than six years. This combination indicates a substantial professional interest in Pronuncian media.
75% are male, 25% female. 60% are between 25 and 34 years of age. More than half have purchased some English study materials in the past six months; 85% plan to purchase additional materials within the next six months. A strong majority prefer iPod/iPhone devices, again indicating affluence and a solid target for sales of electronic materials.
